- For a warrant or wanted notice, start with Sheriff's Most Wanted, then direct an official status question to GCSO or the court. For filed charges, hearings, or a final result, use Glenn County Superior Court.

- For a person sentenced into California state custody, use the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's CIRIS search. It is not a Glenn County arrest lookup and does not display photographs.
- For federal sentenced custody, use the BOP locator. For immigration custody, use the separate ICE detainee locator. Neither is a substitute for the county jail.
